Orchard Crops
Lynn Wunderlich is the Farm Advisor for Pomology, Horticulture and Specialty Crops in El Dorado and Amador Counties. 
Lynn has a background in Integrated Pest Management and has worked as the Farm Advisor in El Dorado and Amador Counties since fall of 2000. The goal of her Pomology, Horticulture and Specialty Crops program is to conduct local research and to extend research-based knowledge through outreach programs in order to sustain and enhance the viable, safe and efficient production of agricultural crops, home gardens and orchards in an environmentally sound manner.
Lynn currently has projects in the following areas:
- Codling moth control in apples and pears using alternative, reduced-risk insecticides;
- Phytophthora root rot studies in Christmas trees;
- Assisting the Placerville Fruit Growers Cooperative in creating a strategic plan for their future;
- Evaluating Nordmann Fir progeny for growth in the Sierra foothills.
