EL DORADO COUNTY PRESENTATION DAY 2009
To share your knowledge with others and gain experience in public speaking.A small group of 4-H members take turns giving their presentations before a slate of 3 adult judges (parents), a junior judge and family members in a classroom.
WHEN:
Date for El Dorado County Presentation Day is Feb. 21, 2009.
Sectional Presentation Day is March 28, with a deadline of March 1 for entries, (it wasn't possible for us to do our county event on the last Saturday of the month and still get our Sectional applications in by the next day.)

All enrolled members of 4-H may participate. Junior members (those younger than 9 years of age by January 1, 2009) will receive a participation ribbon and gain public speaking experience, but won’t be judged by the panel of judges. All intermediate and senior members will be judged, receiving written feedback and a participation certificate with a gold, blue, red or white seal.
We also need youth Door Keepers (to make sure presentations in progress are not interrupted) and Room Coordinators (to lend a hand to presenters and the judges). You can do this job and give a presentation as well.
We will also need at least 15 judges, both adults (parents, grandparents, etc), and teens who have given presentations in the past. The more judges the better!
If you wish to help on the organizing committee, we would welcome your assistance!
You are also welcome to come and observe presentations.
